The Woodmen Broadcasting Club was established in 2017 by incoming GCHS Freshmen, Parker Irwin, who had a desire to bring his love of broadcasting to the masses.
Parker started the program with just a few of his friends, a couple of Ipads and a microphone and grew the program to what it is today. He worked to secure grant and fundraising money and because of his dedication and hard work, The Woodmen Broadcasting Club was able to recruit new generations of sports broadcasting enthusiasts to continue to build the program.
Parker graduated in 2021 and left behind a legacy of hard work, integrity in broadcasting and having a passion for what you are doing.
Since its inception, The Woodmen Broadcasting Club has expanded and now offers free and low-cost athletics programming and streaming of various arts programs throughout GCHS.
